Jason graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. Following graduation he moved to Stillwater, Oklahoma where he completed the first two years of his anatomic pathology residency while dodging tornados. In the summer of 2013 he rejoined VDx Veterinary Diagnostics, where he had been hired as VDx’s first lab assistant in 2002 and completed the third year of his residency while specializing in small animal surgical pathology. Following completion of his residency he stayed on at VDx as a diagnostic pathologist. In addition to surgical pathology his interests include dermatopathology, oral pathology and hepatobiliary disease. When not at work he enjoys spending time traveling both locally and internationally, remodeling his first house, backpacking, kayaking and spending time with his two dogs Kona and Lucy.
